Starting this weekend, and running each Saturday and Sunday until April 7, MLAs Randy Hawes, Marc Dalton, Green Party of BC candidate Aird Flavelle, BC Liberal candidate Simon Gibson, BC NDP candidates Mike Bocking and Preet Rai, plus Mission Mayor Ted Adlem will be working the crowds at a number of locations locally to sell Abbotsford Heat tickets.
The AHL club has donated the tickets for the April 12 game to St. Joseph’s for this fundraising event. Proceeds will go towards ongoing construction of the Seventh Avenue building.
“This is a great opportunity to support the St. Joseph’s Food Bank in a meaningful way and have some fun, too,” said Ron Leger, volunteer building project manager. “Our shared goal is straightforward at St. Joseph’s Food Bank: feed the needs of those without.
